Orbit public policy draft
Cookie notice
This notice describes the limited role cookies and similar browser storage can play in Orbit.
Current public site: the public Orbit pages are not designed to run advertising tracking or behavioural profiling. The authenticated products may use essential session and security mechanisms so authorised users can sign in and work safely.
Essential use
Authentication, security and preference mechanisms can be necessary to keep a signed-in workspace operating and to protect accounts from misuse. Disabling them may prevent parts of the product from working.
Analytics and marketing
No marketing-cookie consent claim is made here. If analytics, marketing technology or new third-party tools are introduced, this notice and any necessary choice mechanism must be updated before they are enabled.
How to manage cookies
You can manage browser storage through your browser settings. For an authenticated Orbit workspace, consult your organisation administrator before clearing browser data if you are in the middle of an important task.
