Orbit public policy draft
Privacy notice
This notice explains the kinds of information Orbit is designed to handle while the platform is being developed and tested.
Important: This is a transparent product-policy draft, not a claim that Orbit is legally certified or fully compliant. It requires review by qualified legal counsel and completion of the relevant legal-entity and contact details before external launch.
What Orbit may process
Depending on the enabled Orbit product, this can include account and organisation details, role and access information, learning activity, course content, and 360-feedback cycle information such as participation relationships and submitted responses.
How the information is used
Orbit is designed to use information only to provide and protect the relevant workspace: authentication, role-based access, organisation administration, learning delivery, feedback-cycle administration, reporting and product security.
360 Feedback boundary
360 feedback is sensitive by design. Orbit is designed to apply the anonymity threshold selected for a cycle and withhold anonymous groups until enough completed responses exist. It should not be used to make automated employment, promotion or compensation decisions.
Organisation responsibility
Each organisation using Orbit is responsible for ensuring it has an appropriate basis to add people, configure the product and invite participants. Organisation administrators should apply the least access needed for their role.
Your choices
Use your organisation’s authorised Orbit administrator for account-access, correction or deletion requests. A dedicated privacy contact and final data-subject request process will be published before external launch.
Security
Orbit uses access controls and product safeguards appropriate to its current implementation. No online service can promise absolute security; suspected security issues should be reported through the responsible-disclosure route described in the Security notice.
